Welcome to Grocerr AI. By downloading, installing, or using the Grocerr AI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grocerr AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Grocerr AI is an AI-powered kitchen and grocery management application that provides:

• Pantry inventory tracking with expiry alerts
• Smart grocery list creation and management
• AI-powered scanning (dishes, recipes, receipts, pantry items, barcodes, social media)
• AI recipe generation and cookbook management with 10,000+ recipes
• AI meal planning
• Nearby store finder and price comparison
• AI chat assistant for cooking and grocery questions
• Push notifications for expiry and reorder reminders

3. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use the App
• You may register with email/password or Google Sign-In
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App
• One person may only maintain one account

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan

• 10 AI generations per month (resets on the 1st of each month)
• Pantry tracking (up to 50 items)
• Grocery lists (up to 10 lists)
• Cookbooks (up to 10)
• All 5 AI scanners

Grocerr AI Plus (Premium)

• 200 AI generations per month
• Unlimited pantry items, grocery lists, and cookbooks
• AI Chat Assistant
• Nearby Stores, Deals, and Price Comparison
• AI Meal Planning
• Priced at $4.99/month or $29.40/year ($2.45/month)
• Subscriptions are managed through Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store settings

5. AI-Generated Content

• Recipes, meal plans, chat responses, and other AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only
• AI-generated nutritional information, calorie estimates, and cooking suggestions are approximate and should not be used as medical or dietary advice
• Always verify allergen information independently before consuming AI-suggested recipes
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the systems or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements

7. Intellectual Property

• The Grocerr AI app, its design, logos, and codebase are owned by Abhishek Sivaraman
• Recipes and content you create within the App remain your intellectual property
• You grant a limited license to store and process your content to provide the service

8. Limitation of Liability

Grocerr AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any food allergies, dietary issues, or health problems arising from AI-generated recipes or suggestions
• We are not liable for inaccurate price comparisons or store information
• We are not responsible for data loss, although we make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

9. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion)
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notifications.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
