Is Grocerr AI free to use?
Yes! Grocerr AI is free to download and use. The free plan includes pantry management, grocery lists, AI chat, and basic scanning. Premium unlocks unlimited AI scans, advanced meal planning, price comparison, and more for $4.99/month or $2.45/month billed annually.
What scanners are available?
Grocerr AI includes 6 scanners: Dish Scanner (photo to recipe), Recipe Scanner (digitize recipe cards), Receipt Scanner (auto-add to pantry), Pantry Scanner (photo your fridge), Barcode Scanner (product lookup), and Social Import (paste Instagram/YouTube/TikTok recipe links).
How does the AI meal planner work?
The AI generates personalized weekly meal plans based on your pantry items, dietary preferences, budget, and cooking skill level. One tap adds all missing ingredients to your grocery list.
Can I share grocery lists?
Yes! You can create multiple grocery lists with custom emoji icons and share them with family members and friends. Items auto-organize by aisle category for faster shopping.
How do expiry alerts work?
When you add items to your pantry with expiry dates, Grocerr AI sends push notifications before items expire. The AI also tracks your consumption patterns and suggests recipes to use items before they go to waste.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are securely hashed. Photos sent for scanning are processed by AI and not stored permanently. We never sell your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Google Play or the App Store. Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel anytime. You'll retain Premium access until the end of your billing period.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can request account deletion from the Profile tab in the app or visit our Delete Account page. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
What platforms is Grocerr AI on?
Grocerr AI is available on Android via Google Play and coming soon to the Apple App Store for iOS.
How does price comparison work?
Grocerr AI uses AI to analyze prices across nearby grocery stores. It compares your shopping list items and recommends the most cost-effective store. Premium users get full price breakdowns and deal alerts.

Scanner not working

Make sure camera permissions are enabled in your device settings. Ensure good lighting and a clear, steady photo. Restart the app if the scanner freezes.

AI chat not responding

Check your internet connection. The AI requires an active connection to process requests. If the issue persists, try logging out and back in.

Push notifications missing

Go to device Settings → Apps → Grocerr AI → Notifications and ensure they are enabled. Also check in-app: Profile → Notification Preferences.

Login issues

If you forgot your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. For Google Sign-In, ensure your Google account is properly set up on your device.

App running slow

Clear the app cache in device settings. Make sure you're running the latest version from Google Play. Close other apps to free up memory.

Subscription not activated

It may take a few minutes for the subscription to sync. Try restarting the app. If the issue persists, go to Profile → Restore Purchases or contact us.
